All Modules must be taken in consecutive order. You will be provided with one at a time regardless of your choice of payment option.

On receipt of your payment a list of suggested and required texts will be provided, as well as a list of supplies needed to complete your course. Texts and supplies are in addition to course fees. Students are given a discount on Aromatherapy supplies, both pre and post-course, when ordered from Essential Therapies. Texts must be sourced separately and paid for by the student.

The Distant Learning program in Aromatic Sciences may be started any time the student is ready and course fees have been received and processed. Once fees have been processed, The Module 1 manual will be shipped or delivered digitally, within 10 business days. Once received and reviewed, a SKYPE, personal, or FaceTime appointment, will be set to go over the material and assignments for that Module and the subsequent ones to come.

At the end of each completed Module, you will sit an exam for that particular material. A grade of no less than 75% must be achieved in all Modules, as well as the final practical and written exams. Should you not achieve a passing grade for any of the Modules, a $150.00 + HST fee will apply, to rewrite that exam. The final exam fee is $250.00 + HST. Should you not achieve a passing grade in either the practical or written area, an additional fee of $250.00 + HST will apply to each area in which a passing grade has not been achieved, prior to completing that final exam a second time.

If you wish to apply to the Canadian Federation of Aromatherapists for their CAHP designation, or any other professional association, at this time, you may be required to write their National exam and perform a practical one as well. There are usually fees associated with both and are handled by their offices. At this time, you will need to achieve a minimum percentage in each area, in order to pass. All professional association applications and approval are at the discretion of the association applied to.

Please Note: I will be available for consultation, in a reasonable manner, throughout your course and beyond. Should you require tutoring in any area, a $47.00 + HST fee per hour will apply. Simple questions or clarification of material are not considered tutoring sessions and will be addressed in a timely manner.
